Scott CR1 Team Bike 2011
The CR1 offers the perfect balance of performance and comfort. Designed to absorb shock and vibration created by irregularities in the road, this concept results in a very smooth and stable ride, reducing rider fatigue and making any ride more enjoyable. The bike's lateral stiffness enables direct power transfer and ensures both confident cornering and descending. The geometry of the CR1 is performance oriented, but the top tube and head tube lengths offer a more comfortable position than pure racing frames.
The seatstays, chainstays and fork all feature SDS, our Shock Damping System. These areas have been specially constructed with regard to tube shape, dimension, and fiber layup to provide vertical compliance without sacrificing torsional stiffness.
Das CR1 bietet die perfekte Symbiose aus Leistung und Komfort. Asphalt ist nie glatt. Unzählige kleine Schlaglöcher oder ausgebesserte Stellen wirken als Vibrationen oder Schläge auf den Rennradfahrer ein. Das SDS-Konzept absorbiert diese Schocks wirkungsvoll und ermöglicht eine ruhigere, stabilere Fahrt, lässt den Fahrer weniger schnell ermüden und sorgt einfach für mehr Spass auf der Strasse. Die Seitensteifigkeit des CR1 bringt die Muskelpower direkt auf die Strasse und vermittelt in schnellen Kurven und Abfahrten viel Sicherheit. Die Geometrie ist einerseits leistungsorientiert, andererseits bietet das CR1 mehr Komfort als reinrassige Rennmaschinen.
Die Sitz- und Kettenstreben sowie die Gabel sind mit unserem Shock-Damping-System (SDS) ausgestattet. Ausgeklügelte Rohrformen, Dimensionen und Karbonfaserausrichtungen ermöglichen eine vertikale Vibrationsdämpfung, ohne dass die Seitensteifigkeit darunter leidet.
