SHIMANO DEORE XT, the world's first mountain biking component group is completely revamped for its 30th birthday.
The new compact caliper with oversized 22mm ceramic pistons is combined with a lightweight lever for a brake that is lighter than the current version, yet provides more brake power.
Ice-Tec:
Innovation of heat management Long pad life, less fade and lightweight Long descents generate elevated operating temperatures which can lead to decreased brake power, increased pad wear and sometimes noise. At Shimano, we realized consistent braking performance through energy control with Ice Technology. With aluminum cores, these rotors are also lightweight. "Ice-Tech" rotor The clad rotor blade with a 3-layer-sandwich structure (stainless steel/aluminum/stainless steel) provides an excellent radiation performance.
I-Spec:
The new XT offers an integrated mount system for the brake lever and shift lever, named "I-Spec". With I-Spec, only one clamp band is needed which looks good and saves space on the handlebar besides saving around 10g. Horizontal micro-adjustment is possible for a customized set-up.
Please pay attention to the max. permitted disc diameter depending on your fork!
Important:
The brake includes a brake lever, caliper and line, which is filled and bled. Please make sure to add a disk and adapter that fits your bike
