The Busch + Müller IXON IQ Premium is a powerful rechargeable bicycle headlight designed for road use and everyday cycling. Its proven IQ technology produces a broad and evenly illuminated beam with up to 80 lux while also providing additional near-field illumination. The front light is approved for bicycles under the German StVZO regulations.

In High-Power mode, the IXON IQ Premium delivers up to 80 lux with a runtime of up to approximately 5 hours. For extended rides, Low-Power mode provides 15 lux and a runtime of up to approximately 20 hours. This allows the light output to be adapted to the route and riding duration.

The core of the lighting system is Busch + Müller's IQ technology. The high-performance LED works indirectly through a specially developed reflector, creating a wide and homogeneous light field. This provides effective illumination of the road ahead together with useful near-field lighting.

Power is supplied by four NiMH rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 2,100 mAh each. The included power supply is used to recharge the batteries, with a charging time of approximately 5 hours. An integrated capacity indicator provides information about the remaining battery charge.

The handlebar mount is designed for common handlebar diameters of approximately 21 to 32 mm. The headlight can be tilted and swivelled in the mount and can be removed quickly when required. An adhesive glare shield is also included.

The housing features an integrated cooling system for temperature management. The construction is protected against splash water and rain, making the light suitable for changing weather conditions. With its combination of 80 lux output, broad IQ beam, near-field illumination and rechargeable NiMH batteries, the IXON IQ Premium is suited to commuting, everyday cycling and longer rides after dark.
