The Busch + Müller TOPLIGHT Line Brake Plus is a high-quality LED rear rack light designed for bicycles with a hub dynamo lighting system. It combines patented LineTec technology with a large-area reflector, integrated standlight and BrakeTec brake-light functionality. The 50 mm version is designed for rear racks with the corresponding mounting spacing and is approved under the German StVZO road-traffic regulations.

LineTec technology transforms the LED light into a continuous, clearly visible red light strip. This creates an even light appearance with strong visibility from the side. According to the manufacturer, the visibility angle reaches up to 320 degrees. The light strip is complemented by an integrated large-area reflector.

The integrated BrakeTec function detects a significant change in dynamo frequency during operation. When the frequency drops sharply, the rear light becomes brighter and signals braking to following traffic. The brake-light function requires connection to a headlight whose rear-light connections provide AC power.

The automatic standlight function uses an integrated capacitor. It remains active for a period after the bicycle stops and can also be manually switched off using the rear-mounted button. After the bicycle starts moving again, the standlight function is restored as long as sufficient charge is available.

The slim housing measures approximately 94 x 45 x 17 mm. The mounting bolts have a 50 mm spacing. Electrical connection is possible either via plug-in terminals or the patented clamping system, which allows non-stripped cables to be inserted directly into the designated openings.

The TOPLIGHT Line Brake Plus is designed for city and trekking bicycles equipped with a dynamo-powered lighting system. Its splash- and rainwater-resistant plastic housing, integrated standlight and BrakeTec brake-light function make it suitable for everyday bicycle lighting applications.
