The Busch + Müller TURNTEC T4 is an electronic turn signal system for e-bikes, S-pedelecs, multi-track bicycles, bicycle trailers and bicycles where hand signals are fully or partially obscured by the vehicle design. The system consists of four LED indicators - two front and two rear - together with an ergonomic multifunction control mounted on the handlebar.
The indicators are controlled directly from the handlebar switch, allowing both hands to remain on the handlebars while turning. A short press activates the comfort flashing function for several flash cycles. Holding the button for longer activates continuous flashing until the button is pressed again.
The system includes integrated fault detection. If an indicator is not connected correctly or one of the indicators fails, the malfunction is shown at the control unit. This makes it possible to monitor the operating status of the system directly from the handlebar.
Power is supplied directly from the e-bike battery. The TURNTEC operates with an input voltage of 10 to 48 V DC and requires only 2 W of power at the lighting output. This makes the system suitable for a range of e-bike drive systems with a compatible power supply. Depending on the e-bike system, a suitable connection cable or adapter may be required.
The package includes four e-bike indicators, the ergonomic control button, mounting hardware and the required wiring. Additional cable harnesses and mounting accessories are available for different bicycle and e-bike configurations.
The TURNTEC T4 is StVZO approved and, according to the manufacturer, is also suitable for fast e-bikes and S-pedelecs. Its robust construction is protected against splash water and rain and is designed for permanent use on bicycles.
