More luggage carrier is not possible! With the ORTLIEB Rack Three you can not only cycle to work and shopping, but also go on a big tour. The special feature of this all-round carrier is that it combines all ORTLIEB mounting systems: Rack Three is equipped with the practical mounting elements for the Quick-Lock3.1 / Quick-Lock3 system. So you can attach all ORTLIEB bags directly with this system, without further modification. If you only want to use the Rack Three for your Quick-Lock2.1 / 2/1 bags, you can easily unscrew the QL3.1 / QL3 holder elements, which gives you more space for the shoulder bags. Thanks to the double railing, all bike bags with the QL2.1, QL2 and QL1 system can be hung both at the top and one floor lower. The latter gives you the option of attaching a bicycle basket or trunk bag to the top of the rack at the same time so you can expand your storage space.
Rack Three is suitable for bikes with 26 "and 28" wheel size. The maximum payload is 30 kg.

Stabiler Gepäckträger
Der Gepäckträger macht einen äußerst stabilen Eindruck und ließ sich ohne Probleme mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben an meinem Stevens X8 montieren. Möchte man Ortlieb Taschen ohne die neue Q3.1 Halterung daran befestigen, dann empfiehlt der Hersteller, die werkseitig vormontierten Haltepunkte zu entfernen und die Gewinde mit den mitgelieferten Gummipfropfen abzudecken. Und hier kommt mein Kritikpunkt: Die Teile sind werkseitig so brutal fest angeknallt, dass sich diese nicht mit einem Inbusschlüssel lösen lassen. Ich habe sämtliche Schrauben bei dem Versuch beschädigt und konnte diese nur Lösen, nachdem ich die Halterung zuvor mit einer Kombizange vorgedreht habe. Das Ende waren Schrauben und Halterungen massiv beschädigt und der Lack am Gewinde hat ebenfalls gelitten. Die Gummiabdeckungen für die Gewinde passen auch nicht wirklich gut. Warum werden die Halterungen für die Q3.1 Taschen nicht einfach nur beigelegt? Dann können diese bei Bedarf montiert werden und alles wäre viel einfacher. So gibt es leider Punktabzug.
