Product information "Ortlieb Seat-Pack QR"

Thanks to the unique Seat-Lock fastening system, the Seat-Pack QR can be assembled quickly and stably and dismantled just as quickly and without leaving any residue. The adapter clamp even allows the use of lowerable seat posts, so the innovative Seat-Pack QR can be used in a variety of ways.

Whether single trail, alpine pass or gravel route, with the waterproof Seat-Pack QR you are ready for every bike adventure. With the innovative and patented Seat-Lock attachment system, the bag made of abrasion-resistant nylon fabric is super stable, quick to assemble and just as quick to disassemble without leaving any residue. Thanks to the adapter clamp, the Seat-Pack QR is even suitable for lowerable seat posts and only requires 4.3 cm of space at the dropper post. The internal reinforcement and five compression straps ensure that the contents are packed securely and securely. A valve with a handle strap helps to compress the pack volume and the elastic cord on the outside allows additional equipment to be attached. To prevent damage from tire contact, a protective plate is attached to the underside of the Seat-Pack QR, which also serves as a replacement fender.

Compatibility Notice

You can easily check whether your saddle is suitable:

1. The saddle frame must have a slope of at least 34° at the bend point

2. Measured from the bending point, you need a distance of at least 13mm to the saddle clamp and the underside of the saddle along the saddle rails

3. The lateral lower edge of your saddle must be at least 14mm higher than the lower edge of the saddle frame (measured at the bending point)

Unfortunately, the following components are not suitable:

- Carbon seat posts and carbon saddles

- Saddles with an unusual saddle frame, e.g. SQLab Active, Brooks B67 (=> note 2.)

- Electronic Vario seat posts e.g. Rock Shox Reverb AXS or Magura Vyron

If you still have problems with the initial assembly, make sure that the seat lock system on the bag is pushed as far forward as possible (towards the seat post) and that the four safety screws of the seat lock system are loosened. This is the easiest way to mount the bag and find a suitable position. (For further information use the operating instructions!)
