SmartGRIP Compound
Decades of victories in motocross and rally competitions around the world have led our engineers to develop a new innovative rubber compound: the SmartGRIP compound for the Scorpion™ MTB, which combines opposite properties:
'Tear resistance for maximum mechanical grip on dry and wet surfaces and maximum resistance to punctures
'Chemical grip on wet terrain for uncompromising driving in all weather conditions
The SmartGRIP compound is the result of an extensive research and development process that has led us to the best possible performance in both dry and wet conditions. We have chosen a single compound formula to achieve the most consistent performance possible over the entire life of the tire, even when the lugs start to wear.
ProWALL
The ProWALL features sidewall protection that improves puncture resistance and handling at low inflation pressure. The sidewall is reinforced with an additional nylon layer that increases resistance to punctures and cuts while stabilizing the tire at low air pressure for a safe ride on any terrain. The ProWALL is a reliable option for XC racing, trail riding and enduro use.
