Shimano designed the RT-EM810 brake disc specifically for use on e-bikes equipped with STEPS motors. It comes with a magnet for the SM-DUE11 or EW-SS301 rear wheel speed sensor and with a lockring that has classic internal teeth

The brake disc is compatible with various disc brakes and with both sintered and organic pads.
