The new Hope Pro 5 - further developed hub technology

Hope has over 30 years experience in hub design and manufacture.

With the Pro 5, Hope has used this experience to construct a product that meets the demands of current and future bicycle technology.

The Pro 4 has proven to be one of the most reliable and versatile hubs on the market.

Hope has further developed this proven technology

with several improvements - improved sealing and reduced resistance in the driver body,

the increased load capacity with higher torques, even better durability,

more drive points and better compatibility with new drive systems.

In the construction of the hub, these factors were equally taken into account and combined.

The sealing of the hub

Reliability is always a priority for the design of the products.

External sealing plays an important role here with the Pro 5.

Hope has evolved the Pro 4's design in this area with a new seal on this drive side,

which provides better sealing and less resistance.

This system is designed to withstand the worst weather conditions, even in the UK!

The reduction of resistance in the freehub

This was one of the most important goals in the construction of the Pro 5 hub

and leads to noticeable advantages for the driver.

The combination of a new labyrinth seal, a redesigned pawl / ratchet system

and the new pawl spring has made it possible to offer less resistance

in the freehub mechanism despite additional drive points.
