The Getaway now comes in a reinforced version with Xtra Protection (XP) - perfect for long rides in rough terrain. It is part of Challenge's new Gravel XP series: ideal for those looking for a robust and durable tire - without compromising on comfort and handling.

The Getaway is the ideal gravel all-rounder with the best performance and long service life. The tire has a subtle but grippy tread pattern, strong shoulder lugs and offers plenty of grip and comfort thanks to its large volume.

Pro Handmade Tubeless Ready with Superpoly casing

Handcrafted tires combine a variety of outstanding features to provide maximum comfort and lowest rolling resistance. Carefully selected materials are used in different tire levels depending on usage performance requirements. Soft, supple carcasses quickly adapt to the shape of the surface when rolling and cornering. This increases ground contact and grip and improves shock absorption on poor roads. Soft, natural rubber profiles are combined with lightweight, flexible puncture protection.

Polyester is the cheapest of all hand-made casings. It is a synthetic fabric that is very strong and waterproof and offers significantly more flexibility and durability than comparable nylon materials. Challenge uses high quality polyester or SuperPoly (higher TPI polyester) to produce cost-effective Pro Level tires.

Perfect for use with tubeless systems: no tube, strong puncture protection and high efficiency.

Handmade natural rubber - SMARTplus hardness level

Challenge's handcrafted natural rubber treads are compounded to provide the perfect level of durability without compromising performance, comfort and control. Although Challenge tires wear 10 - 20% faster than the competition, they offer significantly improved performance and a noticeably better driving experience throughout their lifespan. Depending on the requirements, the tires are equipped with rubber compounds of different softness.

The SMARTplus Compound is a slightly harder natural rubber mixture specially designed for high mileage. The formulation effectively reduces wear and makes the tire even more resistant and durable.

Corazza Armor

Corazza Armor Silver: The first step with the gravel tires was to improve the side protection. The carcass is extended around the bead to the tread. This ensures longer durability and additional protection for the most stressed parts of the tire. In addition, the flexibility of the tire center is excellently complemented by the reinforced sidewalls - and in addition to improved puncture protection, it offers a smooth, soft ride.

Corazza Armor Gold: Based on the Armor Silver side protection, an additional layer of tightly woven material is incorporated from bead to bead. The tire therefore offers maximum all-round protection against aggressive terrain.
