The Deore XT front derailleur trims itself so you never have to worry about premature wear from a misaligned drivetrain. And when Synchroshift executes gear calculations for you, Di2 controls both the front and rear derailleurs from the same lever; just change gears up and down and Synchroshift's pre-programmable shifting map controls the front chainring automatically.
